That thin film of dust was on me. It's
Road Dust. The ghost of Jack Kerouac sprinkled it on me as a blessing after I crossed the international date line the second time.

are those framed diplomas on your wall?

No, those are teaching awards. My diplomas are both unframed and in various closets. I have no good explanation for why this is.

I read your blog! Even though you didn't send it to me and I had to log onto facebook AT WORK to find it. Good job though. Why can't you continue this into November? Also, I read a whole year's worth of a blog that some woman in Utah wrote for the future to let her three year old daughter know how insanely crazy she was at age three.
